Vice President, Operational Finance

Since joining DCHS in December 2005, Ms. Melikian has overseen the development of the monthly operating review process, implemented labor productivity standards and related reporting mechanisms at five of the Local Health Ministries, developed and implemented multiple accounting related policies, and assisted in service line modeling and analysis.  Ms. Melikian's work in these areas has significantly benefited DCHS as we work to meet financial and operating goals.

Ms. Melikian's most recent experience includes serving as a financial consultant to numerous healthcare organizations, including Catholic Healthcare West, Memorial Health Services, and DCHS.  Additionally, she was with Arthur Andersen from 1986 to 1995 and left as a senior manager.

Ms. Melikian’s experience in business planning and implementing performance improvements will greatly benefit the DCHS finance team.  In her new role, she will work closely with each hospital to assist them in achieving their financial and operational goals. 

Ms. Melikian received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California.
