Contracting and Payor Relations

As a member of the Daughters of Charity Health System senior leadership team, Ms. Rabin is responsible for developing a managed care strategy and coordinating major health plan negotiations with the five Daughters hospitals.

Ms. Rabin has worked within the Daughters of Charity Health System at St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where she served as Director of Managed Care and Contracting. There she was responsible for all aspects of managed care and contracting, including participating in system-wide negotiations with several major payors. Additionally, she played an instrumental role in establishing the Multi-Organ Transplant Program Center of Excellence.

Prior to her experience at St. Vincent Medical Center, Ms. Rabin served as Administrative Director of Managed Care and Contracting at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles and Director, MultiFacility Managed Care for Providence Health Systems, also in Los Angeles. Throughout her career, Ms. Rabin has participated in major turnaround efforts, facilitated start-ups of innovative programs and assumed responsibility for the reorganization and integration of managed care operations for acute care hospitals.

Ms. Rabin received her Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic State University and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
