Los Altos Hills, CA – Sister Marjory Ann Baez, DC is the new Board Chair of the Daughters of Charity Health System.

Sister Marjory Ann was raised in San Francisco, California. After graduating from high school, she entered the Daughters of Charity. She received a bachelor of science degree in Nursing from Marillac College in St. Louis, Missouri, and later prepared for an elementary teaching credential at the University of San Francisco. Her early years were spent in nursing in Waco, Texas and St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles.
At Seton Provincialate, she served as assistant directress and directress of the formation program for seven years, and also as a provincial councillor in both social ministry and formation for nine years. She was then served as Director of Mission Services and Community Outreach at Seton Medical Center, Daly City. She was then missioned to St. Francis Medical Center, Lynwood, where she served as Vice President of Mission Services. Additionally, Sister Marjory Ann was the Board Chair at St. Vincent Medical Center.
She replaces Sister Margaret Keaveney, who served as Board Chair for the Daughters of Charity Health System for the past 7 years.
